PG-DAC is a career-oriented 24 week’s full time Post Graduate Diploma course. (NSQF level 8) in ICT for Graduate in Engineering /MCA or equivalent)
Admission to the PG courses of C-DAC ACTS is only provided on the basis of the qualification in computerised CDAC Common Admission Test (C-CAT). PRE-CAT is a formal training offered by ORLANDO ACADEMY – CDAC ACTS AUTHORIZED TRANING CENTER specifically for the preparation of C-CAT exam with a track record of 90+% qualification in every batch till date. PRE -CAT will help YOU to learn and cover the entire syllabus prescribed by CDAC for the CCAT. Every year, C-CAT is usually conducted in June/July (for August admissions) and December (for February admissions).

What is the Eligibility for admission to Diploma in Advanced Computing (DAC) course?
The Candidate should have BE / ME or equivalent (AMIE,AIETE), B.Sc (Engg), MCA, MCS, Msc(Computers), M.Sc(IT), M.Sc(Instrumentation), MCM (After B.Sc), M.B.A (Systems), BCS, B.Sc (IT), B.Sc (Computer Science), BCA, BIS (Bachelor of Information Science), Bachelor of E-Commerce.
What is the procedure to get application form ?
Candidate who wish to apply for the Diploma in Advanced Computing (DAC) course, is required to register for the course on our website http://acts.cdac.in. On successful registration, the candidate will get Login & Password. With the help of this login ID & password the candidate can fill the online application form. Or Candidate can also fill in the printed application form at C-DAC, ACTS / any other authorized training center of C-DAC, ACTS offering DAC course.

What is C-CAT?
C-CAT is CDAC’s Common Admission Test (C-CAT). It is an entry level examination for various PG Diploma courses offered by Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) conducted at all India level.
When is the C-CAT conducted?
C-CAT is conducted twice a year in the months of June and December.
What are the minimum eligibility criteria for appearing for C-CAT?
Candidates who have successfully completed their Engineering Degree or MCA or a Post Graduate in Computer Science/IT are eligible for appearing for C-CAT. For detailed information refer Section 2 of C-DAC’s PG Diploma Admission Booklet.
